Extraphysical helpers

Nanci Trivellato

Have you ever felt an invisible presence or a force that seemed to help you in certain moments of your life?

This concept of a guardian angel or a spiritual guide is accepted in many cultures. From the indigenous people to the New Age studies, there is a belief and a growing interest in knowing more about these more evolved beings, and in having a closer connection with them. Nevertheless, this is not merely a belief, but a reality possible to be verified by oneself, without any type of credo, brainwashing, dogma, submission, hypnosis, or anything of the sort.

In more recent and advanced investigations of the consciousness, scholars have explored the possibility of the contact of consciousnesses who are not of a physical nature. The sciences of Projectiology and Conscientiology study these possibilities that until recently had been described merely as mystic or religious. Our proposed area of study at the IAC is to learn more about ourselves, beyond this physical life. What happens to us after our death? We study this topic and the capacity of knowing this more subtle reality through conscious projections. In other words, if we leave the physical body, we will have an out-of-body experience (also known as astral projection) which will give us insights on the reality of life after death, and most important, we will have the opportunity of meeting with our “spiritual guides.”

In the field of Projectiology, we study the lucid consciousnesses who help us, and they are known as “helpers.” Helpers are beings like us, with an appearance similar to ours. The difference is that they are in a state of lucidity greater than ours and have the task of giving us energetic and thosenic support.

Nevertheless, these consciousnesses are not angels. They are lucid, subtle and positive, but like us, they are consciousnesses also in a process of evolution. This notion of thinking on helpers as if they were angels with wings is truthfully an archetype created by mystic and religious beliefs.

There are helpers with different levels of evolution and different specialties. In fact, there are different levels of hierarchies for helpers.

Persons who have a more complex life task, who are in a position or have a work which requires a greater responsibility over others and that have the task of assistance and clarification, will probably have more helpers or a strong connection with certain helpers.

It is important to stress that the extraphysical helpers are individuals who will be reborn here on this physical plane, just like us. They are not perfect, but they do have a level of lucidity and equilibrium generally more advanced than ours. There is no need for sacredness. It is also important to stress that if we had the capacity to remain lucid outside the physical body, we would also be able to meet with our helper, speak with him, ask questions, etc. Moreover, we can have direct contact with them, depending solely on our ability, control, and evolutionary level.

Unfortunately, the great majority of persons do not perceive their helpers and the energies emitted by them. Many are so involved in daily life and its problems that they connect much more with the ill consciousnesses and unstable energies which surround them, than with the energies or inspirations of their helpers which are more impartial and rational.

Thus, how is your level of perception of your helpers and your contact with them? Would you like to feel and contact your helper? Make this objective a goal for yourself when you are out of your body, during sleep. Do not forget that you can increase and develop your parapsychic abilities. There are studies done on this. These are not only things select gifted people or psychics are able to do, as it was believed until recently. Extrasensory perceptions and out-of-body experiences (astral projection or astral travel) are normal, natural phenomena which one is able to learn, develop, and use in our daily life to expand the equilibrium and evolutionary level.

Commentary: Of Oxytocin and Evolution

by Nelson Abreu

A researcher recently share a fascinating TED talk on oxytocin and its relationship to trust and morality.

The talk concludes that only mammals release oxytocin. The researcher wondered whether, on a planet where lizards evolved to the evolutionary level of humans, emotional relations and bonding - and thus the way that cosmoethics is expressed - would be different just because of this biological difference.

Firstly, thank you for such a neat question. In my view, emotional relations and bonding can be expressed extraphysically in the absence of a soma, let alone oxytocin. It is interesting that it correlates, physically, with these capacities and that those are expressed more in mammals. That points to, at least in our planet, consciousness evolutoin in terms of emotional evolution is more expressed in mammals with oxytocin being more the result than the cause? This would seem more in line with consciousness driving biological evolution than the reverse.

Related to this concept, I recommend the work of Alfred Russell Wallace, co-discoverer of biological evolution with Darwin, but marginalized by history due to his views that questioned the Newtonian-Cartesian paradigm that attempting to reduce spirit or self away from the picture. Wallace, who developed an active interest in psychical phenomena and faculties, thought that natural selection cannot account for other faculties like mathematical, artistic, and musical genius, wit, humor, and “metaphysical musings.” He also believed that the raison d'être of the universe was the development of the human spirit (Wallace 1889).

The Phenomenon of Man by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the Jesuist priest and paleontologist who co-discovered of the Peking Man, offers an visionary perspective on the matter, tracing a progression from geogenesis, to biogenesis, to psychogenesis, toward noosgenesis (global consciousness) and predicted a unified and conscious Earth itself (gaia, the Internet). TheJofC issue 3 also featured an interesting article on this subject by Mark Siffer (Consciousness and the Anthropic Principle).

As we can see, it is not an entirely original idea, but I have called this, in previous works, conscientiomotor evolution. Conscientiomotor evolution proposes that biological evolution is driven by or is a reflection of the evolution of the non-physical consciousness. As the consciousness principle becomes more advanced, it stimulates the creation of a physical corpus more suitable to its kinetic, emotional, and mental capabilities. The biasing of random processes, exploiting the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics, could be the interface of consciousness (through bioenergy or qi) with physical events (genes and neurons).

We could also call this hypothesis consciential neo-Lamarckianism, since Jean-Baptiste Lamarck, who put forth the first coherent framework for biological evolution in the West used expressions such as:
le pouvoir de la vie: the power of life, life force
la force qui tend sans cesse à composer l’organización: the complexifying or organizing force (anti-entropric, synthropic force)
l'influence des circonstances: the adaptive force
The common thread of these concepts is that while genes, neurotransmitters, and other physical information and control systems affect our physical behavior, our cosmoethics, sentiments, and all faculties that makes us a consciousness are in constant evolution but are not caused by these physical elements, which are but a gross representation of a deeper pattern that pervades the universe - physical and multidimensional: consciousness itself and its eternal push toward greater complexity and interconnectedness.

Consciential Evolution: Personal Effort and Prioritization

Nanci Trivellato

The evolutionary (growth) process of the consciousness is a complex theme. Measures of the consciousness’ level have been, up to now, mostly restricted to the IQ and EQ tests.
Proposed by Conscientiology, the conscientiogram is a diagnostic exam designed to help evaluate the level of evolution of a consciousness - abilities and limitations, or personal strong and weak traits. The conscientiogram takes into account consciential energies (bioenergies), levels of cosmoethics, attributes of the vehicles of manifestation (bodies), intelligences, past lives, and multi-dimensional lucidity. It constitutes, then, a much broader evaluation. Through this test, we can propose the theory of the main evolutionary levels.

The underlying principle is that the consciousness evolves in an ample and integral sense, and not simply in the genetic and physical sense as some conventional researchers defend. We evolve internally as well: we mature, remain more lucid and with a wider vision, we expand our ethics, and increase our self-cognition and self-control.

Evolution requires change. Nothing evolves without change. In the case of human beings, the majority of changes depend on their will. It is important that one remains motivated to confront the intimate truth of his personal processes, which should be improved throughout the physical existences. It is possible to modify virtually everything in life. Desire, a positive attitude, and disposition are necessary in order to overcome obstacles. Our "struggles" are in reality barriers resulting from sick patterns that we have inside ourselves, in our intra-consciential reality. As a consequence, these internal changes require personal efforts. The strength of the personality (ego?) comes about through centuries, in acts of determination and ethics which polish off the character.

We are constructing our future with each second. What we are living through now is a result of our patterns of thought, sentiments, and attitudes of our past — our thosenes. This obviously includes the past of this life and of our previous lives. Life is the way we make it – a product of what we ourselves generate and create. An indisputable reality: it does not matter where we go, we are always with ourselves. We can never succeed in running from ourselves. As a result of this, our lives are made in accordance with our intimate state. We can be in a beautiful and pleasant place, but if we are not internally satisfied, no external comfort can compensate. Living a happy life with nothing but wisdom and fraternity is a sign of higher evolution. Evolution is very democratic. The same rules apply to everybody.

In general, people become overly involved in life, they start living like robots, without taking charge of the direction which their existence is going. The great majority of the population is guided solely by life’s intra-physical necessities, appointments and frivolous social engagements.

The act of lucid prioritization is one of the most difficult things in evolution, since it requires a high level of lucidity and discernment. For instance, how will you, dear reader, use your time next weekend? Do you merely kill time, or do you decide to utilize time productively in your favor and in favor of other consciousnesses? Evolution is the prioritization of time. The more personal organization the individual has, the more chance there is of accomplishing what is important to the person. Unfortunately, there are many people who live their whole life without the realization that time passes – their most noble and lucid prospects and objectives are cast aside to make room for the trivial superficialities of everyday life. Evidently, the logical conclusion is: stronger and more determined consciousnesses, who make the most lucid use of time, evolve faster.

With the expansion of lucidity and maturity, our capacity for consciential analysis also becomes amplified. Through mutual and self-examination, as well as through lucid, controlled out-of-body experiences (astral projection or astral travel), we will perceive that there are different levels of evolution of the consciousness. Many studies and different lines of thought have proposed that more evolved consciousness exist, like the idea of "masters" or "angels", proposed by some schools of thought. This intends to tentatively discover an evolutionary model for humanity. Unfortunately, however, in making these tentative discoveries, those schools use models based on old superstitious, mystic or religious concepts or ideas, since there is no experimentation or refutation. It is amazing to notice how badly society and the media represent evolved consciousnesses. We have, for instance, many movies that we could analyze and through which it can be verified very easily that the “evolutionary-comatose-humankind level” understands and personify much better non-lucid, pathological consciousnesses than evolved, lucid consciousness. Even applying the mitigating factors that Hollywood deserves, we could mention, for instance, "Powder" vs. "Spawn."

A pertinent question, then, is it possible to discuss and study evolutionary levels of the consciousness without a mystical focus? For us, researchers at IAC, this possibility is a reality. The lucid out-of-body experiences (astral projection) and the conscientiogram are a fundamental tool in these investigations.

We verify that some points are key in evolution, such as mastery of bioenergies, extraphysical lucidity, and the understanding and use of cosmoethics. Those consciousnesses who understand these themes, demonstrate that they have had some type of previous knowledge about this field.
Based on the conscientiogram, developed by Waldo Vieira, we can divide, in a didactic and systematic manner, the types of personalities which represent each evolutionary group. According to Conscientiology, the main levels of evolution, in an increasing order, are: evolutionary para-comatose, pre-intrusion-free, existential recycler, existential inverter, veteran projector, lucid energizer, permanent-total intrusion-free, veteran helper, evolutionary orienter, and serenissimus. Following the serenissimus we have the free consciousness, which exists in a different cycle of evolution than ours.

Unfortunately, the great majority of the population on this planet does not have enough comprehension on multidimensional life, evolution and the order of the universe. This lack of comprehension hinders them with living with wisdom and intelligently utilizing the positive opportunities that life offers. On this level, which is the most basic in human evolution, the individual lives in a more instinctive manner, guided by emotions. It is the condition we refer to as existential robotization. His life has become like a zombie’s, without the performance of conscious projections. This personality is called the evolutionary para-comatose.

The term evolutionary para-comatose signifies a person who is in a comatose state regarding its (potential for) evolution. In other words, this person has no lucidity about its series of existences, nor the autonomy of its extra-physical life. They have no conscious projections at all. They have exclusively unconscious projections. This category is where possibly 90% of the population lies. These consciousnesses work in order to survive, procreate, and seek pleasures; but beyond this, there is no self-evolutionary awareness. In general, this group does not have experiences with relation to their past lives, or they do not admit they do. Others, even though believing in reincarnation, do not live in a manner which takes advantage of life to develop themselves, their surroundings and relationships, in order to make a better future for everybody.

In this case, the objectives of the person revolve around egotistical and instinctive interests. What happens with others is not as important. In other words, the individual has a preoccupation with his comfort, his money, his belongings, his family, his well-being, his beliefs, his power, etc. And these are the reasons that have motivated the wars in this planet. Fundamentally, prioritizations of this person are immediate, based on conquests which will only be useful in this life. They subconsciously do not believe that physical life will end, that everyone dies, and that it would be wiser to take advantage of life to better oneself from the inside. Thus, wherever we go, we take our development with us. It is possible for us to rid ourselves of many things, but not of our knowledge or who we are.

The second type of evolutionary personality, called pre-intrusion-free consciousness, is characterized by their interests in matters related to more "subtle" realities or psychic perceptions of the consciousness. They begin by searching for the truth and knowledge in life, yet they do not have their own personal experiences in order to promote their search with criteria. They are thus like butterflies. They go from place to place in their studies, accepting everything they hear, without judging whether the information is valid or is simply not logical, superficial or ridiculous. Their projections, when they happen, are mostly semi-conscious or are very related to their lives and limited by their intra-physical beliefs. Anyone who begins a personal search to understand non-physical reality and to answer the most intimate questions regarding evolution should have criteria in order to analyze everything that is found, but this is not the case of the pre-intrusion free.

Although there is a lot of brain-washing and fraud in the populist para-normal claims, there are also several fields of study that are serious and appropriate. Nevertheless, the pre-intrusion-free consciousness does not yet have the discernment in order to judge the difference. He has more curiosity than he has personal experience and knowledge.

The next personality which we come across in the study of evolutionary levels is called existential recyclers. These are persons that effectively apply their spiritual knowledge in their lives. They no longer feel the necessity to visit several places of mystic study because they rely on their knowledge and personal experience, and use critical analysis of information which is presented to them. They do not need rituals and are not dependent on a person or institution in order to remain positive. Existential recyclers place more value on logic and real development rather than on the sideshow and dramatic exterior of the psychic that is superficial or deceptive. They try to act a bit more positively and productively each time in life. So, they try to do their best in order to develop themselves and help others develop as well.

Conscious projections are more common for these persons who base their values on experiences and personal principles, instead of having only blind beliefs, without personal verification. Personal experience and self-control is an important stage in the development of the individual because it brings deeper knowledge to the consciousness.

On this level, the person tries to recycle, or fix, his life in order to take the most advantage of and gain the most development out of the opportunities. This is why this personality is called existential recycler. He does not only prioritize physical development, but also invests his time and energy into spiritual, extraphysical, and consciential evolution. They try to be more positive, live on better terms with themselves, and overcome their limitations.

These existential recyclers, on the other hand, often become aware or discover, in their adult years, that they had an existential program or plan of tasks, for this life. In other words, the individual already has his career, job, spouse, or kids, and thus, when he discovers the importance of multi-dimensional awareness, he tries to do the best in order to apply his energies in his personal development in this direction, while trying to take care of all the other responsibilities which he is already committed to in life.

Other than merely having an inspiration about his existential program, the existential recycler recycles his whole life, or partially changes it in order to execute his original life program (a plan that was plotted before birth into present life, while still in a condition of a broader awareness). Meanwhile, however, he still has to maintain a balance between the house, family, work, etc. As a consequence of this, many times the changes are complex to make, though always possible. This situation occurs because the individual has "awoken" late in realizing he had had an existential program.

Just as we knew our existential program before birth, we also know it here in the physical life, although most of the times on an unconscious level. Let us ponder, how would a life be conducted if an individual, from a very young age, chose to invest his energies and time in order to accomplish his existential program? The capacity to make prioritizations will be high for this individual. He or she will utilize his or her time, opportunities, and potentials in order to develop in favor of the completion of their program. We give the name existential inverter to the personality who is in this condition.

Existential inverters choose their professions and activities according to the necessity of their life plan. They do not get involved in situations that are unnecessary. They select their mate with discernment, based on affection, profound affinity, and mainly in the help that one can give each other in order to evolve and mutually comply with their existential programs.

Likewise, the existential inverter follows the plan for his program without straying from his purpose, and does not become involved with tasks based solely on impulse or emotion. What he elects for this life is the direction of his existential program. This is an irrefutable signal of his effort and will-power to remain loyal to his original program, even if he is not lucid of the overall panoramic view.
The feeling of doing what is planned for one’s own life is a very pleasant sensation. The person feels the motivation for living, that existence has a purpose. There is a sensation of intimate peace and tranquility in knowing that one is doing his part for his evolution and the evolution of other consciousnesses.

The more advanced existential programs have the goal of helping humanity on a larger scale. In this case, there is a high level of fraternity. Altruism is an important characteristic one should have in order to complete its existential program. The existential inverter personality, although not a large percentage of society, exists in considerable numbers. There are existential inverters known throughout history. In the IAC we have more than 100 investigators around 25 years of age, who are existential inverters, planning their lives with rationality in order to accelerate their own evolution and that of others.

The next personality in the evolutionary scale is the veteran lucid projector, or the individual who has vast control of his out-of-body experiences (astral projection). This individual uses conscious projections as a continuation (or addition, extension) of his life, taking advantage of this moment to have experiences, acquire knowledge, and assist other persons, whether they be extra-physical or projected intra-physical consciousnesses. With the experience and development acquired through these practices, this consciousness progresses to the next personality on this scale of evolutionary levels, which is called lucid energizer. The individual in this level has such a high stage of ethics, energetic control, and fraternity that he/she continually acts as an energizer in order to help other persons. He practices advanced manipulations of energies for the purpose of assistance.

As a consequence of the accumulation of experiences, in and out of the body, and the increase in acquired energy potentials by way of the realized assistances, the lucid energizer reaches a point of quality and mastery of energies in which he no longer suffers from energetic intrusion nor any loss of balance. The personality in this level, who always maintains a clean psychosphere, or personal energetic field, is called a total-intrusion-free consciousness.

The total-intrusion-frees are capable of performing assistance, i.e., helping persons and places on a deep level, without suffering any negative repercussions from having "entered" into the unbalanced energies of other consciousnesses, whether they are intra-physical or extra-physical.

After this level, through the experiences and cosmoethics manifested until this point, we find the consciousnesses who have developed their fraternity to a very high degree, which they actualize 100% of the time, in and out of the body, with the goal of assisting other people. This personality is known as veteran helper. These consciousnesses assist and support, from the extra-physical dimension, those who are in need and have productive plans for their lives. The veteran helpers are consciousnesses who, beyond good intentions, have an advanced level of discernment to know what is best in each situation. The helpers aid, but do not interfere with the free will of the individuals.

There are several names used for referring to consciousnesses who help extraphysically, but none of them express the correct concept or description of the extraphysical helpers. We can mention, for example, the expressions: guardian angel, protector, mentor, guide, etc. One should never confuse a blind guide (good intention without discernment nor awareness) for a helper. Blind guides are limited non-physical people, far from having the evolutionary level of a veteran helper, who has already acquired experience and sufficient development in order to have a more cosmoethical performance.

These veteran helpers are, of course, evolving as everything else is. They will expand their level even more. With the greatest development of their mental body and an even more advanced discernment, the consciousness evolves into a level called evolutiologist or evolutionary orientor. The evolutiologists are consciousnesses who have a much broader view of reality and know us profoundly and participate in the decisions regarding the life programs of others in the previous levels. They have a task to supervise a group of intra-physical and extra-physical consciousnesses, who have energetic bonds (known as karma) with each other. These consciousnesses that are related among each other form a large group called groupkarma.

The consciousnesses who we meet throughout this life and that we have met in past lives are (often) members of our groupkarma. The evolutiologists profoundly know the relationships of all the persons of this group, and also have knowledge of the existential program of every single one of them. We could say, in a simplified manner, that an evolutiologist is the helper of the whole groupkarma, composed of thousands of people. The evolutionary orienters are hierarchically like the helpers of helpers. One step beyond the evolutionary orienters we have the level which represents the most evolved consciousnesses among human consciousnesses, called Homo sapiens serenissimus. They are named this because although they are humans, they are at a level of evolution, bio-energetics, cosmoethics, and self-control which distinguishes them from other consciousnesses. Their strongest and most noticeable characteristic is their serenity.

The consciousnesses known as serenissimus can be recognized through conscious projections. Here in the physical life, they disguise themselves so they will not be identified. This occurs because of the immaturity of humanity, which demonstrates itself to be incapable of finding and recognizing superior evolutionary consciousnesses without creating a myth. The immaturity of human beings made - and still makes - gurus (leaders of followers) out of several consciousnesses who stand out in history, and made saints many for not scientifically understanding their "paranormal" abilities. As a result of this, the serenissimus maintains his anonymity in the physical life, since they are not interested in being idolized. They are against the idea of gurus and in favor of peace, liberty of expression, and evolution; all of us, one day, whether it be in 2,000 or 20,000 years, will be a serenissimus. Until then, it is not necessary, nor mature, to create an idol of the more evolved consciousnesses.

The serenissimus assists a large group, sustaining the energies of the population, like helpers of entire continents. Extraphysically, there is a hierarchical evolutionary chain, where the Homo sapiens serenissimus are at the highest level. After this level, another stage, or evolutionary cycle, begins. The consciousnesses here are called free consciousnesses, and they do not reborn physically any more. Through conscious extra-physical projections of psychosoma and mentalsoma, we are able to verify many studies and theories. Beyond merely sightseeing we can acquire information, contributing to rationally, objectively and scientifically understanding human nature.

Subjective Phenomena of Projectiology

Nanci Trivellato

We sometimes observe that some people believe that the study of Projectiology only refers to out-of-body experiences or astral projections (also known as astral travel). Nevertheless, the reality is that there are a series of phenomena which are related to the out-of-body experience which are also areas of study in Projectiology.

The reason for giving more priority to the study of conscious projections is the importance that it holds. Of all the paranormal phenomena, the out-of-body experience is the most advanced and the one which allows for more personal growth, justifying all the time invested in its investigation. Nevertheless, the other events are also interesting and have many positive consequences. When we train ourselves to control and extend our projections, we are automatically developing the capacity to perceive and manage these other phenomena, which are derived, in one way or another, from the projections. Let us cite some of these phenomena of subjective character, starting with clairvoyance.

Clairvoyance: It is the visual perception an individual captures from a more subtle reality than the physical dimension. A person with developed clairvoyance has the capacity to see persons, situations or objects which are not of the physical nature. The most common types of clairvoyant activities are: when a person sees, on a normal day, while totally awake, consciousnesses which have passed through the physical death; when one sees energies or auras around a certain person or object; or when extraphysical images are perceived while falling asleep.

Clairaudience: This phenomenon occurs when an individual has the capacity to hear sounds pertinent to other dimensions. They sometimes hear someone in moments of silence and tranquility, or sometimes noises are heard which are not physical. It can be possible for someone to hear their own extraphysical helper when getting ready for sleep.

Waking state nonalignment: There is a sensation when we are slightly detached from the physical body which is characterized by a temporary loss of concentration on the physical universe, slowed reflexes, the person sometimes feels as if walking on clouds, and others. This state is called waking state nonalignment. Many times, people perceive this as soon as they wake up in the morning, but they are not totally attached to their physical body. This is a state which can be controlled and it is common among conscious projectors.

Cosmic consciousness: This is a state of expansion of the consciousness, where there is an increase in lucidity beyond the normal for the individual. One feels connected with the whole universe in a state of deep peace. This has been studied at length throughout history and has been called many things such as samadhi, satori, nirvana, ecstasy, cosmoconsciousness, illumination, and others.

Projective catalepsy: This is a common phenomenon which occurs while one is leaving or returning to the physical body during sleep. The most common description is the feeling of paralysis, without the ability to move, even while awake. This is a benign and natural phenomenon which could be taken advantage of in order to leave the body.

Intuition: It is the ability characterized by the capture of ideas without the normal process of rational thought. The most important thing about intuition is for one to maintain discernment in order to judge the level of information received. The most advantageous type of intuition is the one we have outside our physical body, since in this condition, we are able to absorb more advanced, subtle, and positive ideas.

Psychometry: This phenomenon has been studied extensively by scientists from many different countries. Psychometry is the capacity, which more sensitive human beings possess, that enables them to read a record of information which is implanted in an object through the energies that this object has. For example, a person with sufficient psychometric powers can take an object, such as a watch from some unknown person, and start to describe the owner of the watch, only through the contact of the physical object.

Retrocognition: This is the capacity one has of recuperating one’s integral memory, the memories of past lives and the periods between lives. We will not go into detail here, since we have a whole chapter dedicated to explaining this phenomenon which is of interests to so many these days.

Precognition: This is the condition in which the individual has an insight into situations which are about to happen in the future. There are dreams which are precognitary; in other words, during the dream, the person has a vision of something that will happen. This could also occur while one is awake, and more importantly, it occurs in a more advanced state when one is outside the physical body. It is important to clarify that nothing is 100% established. Everything can be changed. The situation is that some things have a larger probability of happening, while others are less probable and in consequence, easier to change.

Déjà vu: A very common phenomenon. déjà vu, or already seen, is when a person goes to a place, for example, for the first time and has the certainty, a while later, of knowing it or of having been there before. This phenomenon occurs primarily due to conscious projections or out-of-body experiences which the person had, but does not remember. Many times one sees things out of the body and only remembers them when physically seen later on. Nevertheless, there is a type of mental stress that gives the person the impression of having lived through certain situations that occur. It is important to clarify that the phenomenon of déjà vu has nothing to do with these cases of stress. The real déjà vu is a different type of perception from this last one and it is less common.

The most important and interesting thing to observe is that these perceptions, when they are well understood, bring the person a sense of wisdom greater than usual, along with a sensation of confidence and well-being. The person will utilize much more what is called the sixth sense. Everything should happen in a tranquil and controlled manner, with the individual in plain control of his lucidity and mental clarity.

If someone has perceptions of this type and does not know how to control them – feeling anger towards them – the person should definitely inform itself with the proper information, in order to be more knowledgeable on the topic and be at equilibrium with its extrasensory perceptions.

Ambivalent Phenomena of Projectiology

Nanci Trivellato & Wagner Alegretti

There are many types of phenomena and paranormal activities, but some of them, like regression and clairvoyance, for example, are subjective phenomena. Thus, they cannot be seen and occur inside of the person’s own microuniverse. We have previously analyzed these intimate phenomena of the consciousness, so we will concentrate on the objective, or ambivalent phenomena, which can be seen or proven. We can cite several of them. For example:

Materialization: This is a well known phenomenon in which a paranormal performs the materialization of objects which were before “non-existent,” and turns them totally visible. There are various registered cases studied on the topic of materialization. Some of the names that are better known in this field are: Rudy Schneider and Madam d’Esperance. To realize a phenomenon such as this one, the psychic should have control over a type of bioenergy called ectoplasm.

Telekinesis: Telekinesis is a phenomenon in which the person is able to move objects and transform the structure of physical things without touching them, in other words, using only the strength of its bioenergies. Diverse laboratory experiments, primarily in Russia, have been performed in order to verify this phenomenon which is today accepted. One of the best known psychics in the field of telekinesis is Uri Gueler, seen often on television, bending spoons, moving the hands on a watch, etc. Nevertheless, there have been many others who perform telekinesis which have been studied with results greater than those of Uri Gueler.

Bilocation: This is the phenomenon in which a person can occupy two places at the same time. Some individuals who performed bilocations in ancient times were considered to be saints, as if they had performed a miracle. This phenomenon occurs because the extraphysical body exits the physical body and in a certain place, turns itself dense and materializes, and is able to be seen by others, for example: Padre Pio and the Master of the Krya Yoga Babaji.

Parateleportation: This phenomenon is very curious. It occurs when a person dematerializes in a certain place and materializes in another. A paranormal who was very competent lived in San Pablo, Brazil, called Carmine Mirabelli, performed a teleportation as an investigative experiment. A group of students asked him to sit in an armchair and they tied him to the chair. He was told to transport from one room to the other. After a certain time, they opened the door to the room and Mirabelli had disappeared. All of them started to look all over the house for him. He was found in the basement, tied to the chair in the same way they had left him. So, there was a translocation of the person (and the armchair) from one environment to the other. There have been many cases registered of persons who have ended up in another place in a matter of seconds, with no idea on how they got there. Nevertheless, this is a rare phenomenon.

Poltergeist: A very talked about condition, poltergeist is a phenomenon in which physical events occur in a strange manner, generally related with a person, family, or house. There are poltergeists in which the objects are thrown in the air and fall on the house, in other cases objects spontaneously combust, and there are also situations in which objects fly through the house until they fall into something. This phenomenon is generated by extraphysical consciousnesses, or disencarnated beings, which use ectoplasm from physical consciousnesses to generate the physical effects.

Suspended animation: This phenomenon was very developed in India until the decade of the 1950’s. The individual would enter into a type of trance or hibernation with the purpose of being buried alive. Authorities and reporters came to observe the event. The Hindu was left buried, as if he were a corpse, up to a month, when others would come and take him out of the ground and he would resume normal activities. This phenomenon was prohibited because in various cases persons died during the period in which they were buried. Nevertheless, many succeeded and were registered and studied at length. Some scientists think that it may be possible to apply this method to long space travel in the future.

Psychic surgery: There have been many investigations done on this type of surgery. Have you heard of this? In this phenomenon, a surgery is performed without a scalpel or anesthesia, but it is a real surgery, where the person is opened; the surgeon takes out, with his own hands, the problem the person has, and later the tissue is repaired. This is all done without pain or loss of blood. The best examples are Tony Agpaua, from the Philippines, and Jose Arigó, from Brazil. There are many cases in history of miracle cures, even in the Bible. In truth, these are cases of paranormal cures, well-studied, which can now be understood in a scientific manner, not a mystic one.

Ectoplasm: It is the dense energy almost material, utilized to realize the great majority of phenomena with physical effects, in other words, phenomena which generate reactions in the physical matter. Persons with a great deal of ectoplasm and with control to generate at will these effects are very rare. In general, persons which have a great deal of ectoplasm have no knowledge of this, and many times suffer small happenings which are unexplainable in their lives, such as random noises, things that break without reason, objects which fall without anyone touching them, and others.

These are some of the better known objective phenomena. It is wise to know the manifestations of the consciousness, since this is part of our evolution.

Benefits of the conscious projection (astral projection)

Nanci Trivellato

In our courses and conferences, one of the most common questions we get is on the topic of benefits of the out-of-body experiences. This experience, also known as astral projection, is very rich in terms of possibilities and benefits. For example, let us look at the most common cases:

Access to other planes of reality – The out-of-body experience permits one to reach other realities, or dimensions, beyond the physical plane. For example, we can go to the place where we used to live before entering into this present lifetime, and we can also see the place where we will go after the physical death.

Encounters with other persons who have passed away – Obviously, if it possible to visit these places, it is then also possible to meet and speak with persons whom have already passed away, including those who we knew in our life.

Direct interview with the extraphysical guide – These guides, also known as mentors, guardian angels, protectors, or simply helpers, are consciousnesses who live in the astral dimension, but accompany us with the goal of helping us. In general, the great majority of people today are not able to perceive the presence of these beings. If one leaves the body, one can see their helper and hold a discussion with him.

Understanding of and loss of fear of death - When we find ourselves lucid outside the body, we realize by ourselves, without any brain washing or mystic belief that death does not exist. Actually, outside the physical body, we will be exactly the same, with the same evolutionary level, except that we will not have the necessity to breathe, eat, etc. because these are functions exclusive to the physical, animal body. With the verifications made through personal experiences that death does not exist, one will completely lose their fear of death, since it will be proven that no one dies.

Assistance of other consciousnesses – With the knowledge and control acquired through out-of-body experiences (i.e. astral projection, astral travel), we learn to utilize our own energies in favor of other beings. This occurs through lucid and conscious transmission of therapeutic energies. This donation of energies can be made outside the body when one nears another with the intention of helping them.

Recall of past lives – With the accumulation of astral projections, the person begins to have spontaneous, healthy recollections of past lives. This information can help us know ourselves better, overcome certain traumas, self-cure certain illnesses, and expand our sense of fraternity and universalism.

Increase of parapsychic abilities – The control and experience that comes from projections naturally expands the psychic capacities or personal extrasensory perceptions.

Identification of the purpose of one’s personal life – Discovering the main purpose of this life. Through a conscious projection, we can recall or identify our established mission for the current life.

Acceleration of maturity and awakening – With the knowledge of life gained through the study of astral dimensions, we increase our level of consciential maturity, also accelerating our spiritual evolution and avoiding the loss of one third of our life sleeping.

Energetic equilibrium and energetic defenses – The individual’s energy field is at its strongest when it is expanded and at equilibrium. With this, the consciousness is more liberated from intruders, obsessions, or energetic intrusions that are many times suffered due to the energetic invasions of other extraphysical consciousnesses. This state of equilibrium with one’s own energies produces many benefits in the physical and mental disposition and in the psychological equilibrium of persons.

The equilibrium of the energetic field is a characteristic of our overall well-being, control of negative stress, increase in self-confidence and emotional balance, amplification of intellectual capacities, and expansion of self-knowledge. One can learn to manage and control one’s own energies by applying different techniques and experiences.

Bioenergies: A Vital Component of Human Existence

by Sandie Gustus & Nanci Trivellato

What is bioenergy?

Bioenergy is one of many known terms used to describe the energy field that envelops every living being. A non-physical energy, it has nevertheless been identified and acknowledged throughout the ages by different cultures in different parts of the world. The yogis in India call it prana , Chinese acupuncturists know it as chi and modern day psychics refer to it as aura. Other expressions commonly used to describe this type of energy include immanent energy, subtle energy, vital energy, magnetic energy and universal energy.

Many studies have already been undertaken and others are currently in progress to better understand bioenergy (prana, chi, subtle energy). Attempts have also been made to develop instruments and other means of registering it. Kirlian photography for example, a technique that was discovered by accident in 1939, shows that when a high-voltage electric field is applied to an object placed on a photographic plate, an image of the signals emitted by the object is generated. This image is said to be a physical representation of the object's aura.

Among other experiments performed in this field, many noteworthy investigations into bioenergies have been led by the Russians. Results of their research showed that individuals can utilize their own bioenergies for self-healing or to heal another person, to move an object without touching it, or to engage in a telepathic or mental transmission of information.

Other researchers into parapsychic phenomena have concluded that this type of energy is an essential component of a whole range of occurrences such as acupressure, acupuncture, the bending of metal at will, dematerializations and rematerializations, ectoplasmy, homeopathy, poltergeist activities, teleportation and psychic surgery.

Despite some modest success in creating instruments capable of recording bioenergy (prana, chi), it remains largely too subtle to be measured with any precision by scientific equipment. The most efficient tool for this purpose is the sensitivity of the human being. Given that humans have the inherent capacity to detect and analyze the bioenergy fields (aura, energetic body, etheric double) generated by others, they are invaluable research tools in experiments of this nature.

Bioenergy is responsible for the sustenance of human life. Our bioenergetic body connects us to our astral body and replenishes us with the energies necessary for our overall vitality and health.

Interacting with the bioenergies of other people and of the environments around us

Our energy field (aura) is not static. It constantly absorbs and externalizes (or exteriorizes) energies in a process of exchange with other living beings and with the environment. An example of this with which we are all familiar is when our physical, psychological or mental disposition shifts as a result of coming into contact with another person.

Another simple example that illustrates the fluid disposition of our energy field (aura) is when we exchange energies with nature. Have you noticed that sometimes when a person looks at or touches a plant in a certain way, it wilts? This is because some people's bioenergies are intrinsically negative so when they touch a plant they drain it of its energies and it becomes ill. At the other end of the scale are those people who have a ‘green thumb' when it comes to plants. The ‘green thumb' is a substantiated phenomenon that relates directly to a type of personal bioenergy (or aura / charka's energy) that is agreeable to and compatible with plants.

The energy field that we create around us is also changeable in terms of variables such as the level of equilibrium and the intensity and flexibility of the energies which may be active and loose, or inert and blocked, for example. When our outlook is even and we feel strong and confident, our energies are generally more expanded and stable. When our temperament is erratic, it affects our energetic pattern which becomes similarly entropic and perhaps weaker.

As our energetic field is open, flexible and ‘porous' then unless we have good awareness and control of our energies, we are subject to the influence of the energies of the people and environments around us. Conversely, regardless of our level of awareness, we also affect, to varying degrees, the energetic fields of the people and places we encounter in our everyday lives.

As bioenergy is a neutral force in and of itself, it is the thoughts and sentiments driven by such factors as intentions and ethics that, applied to the bioenergy by each individual, determine whether their energetic influence over others is positive or negative.

Certainly, it is within the capacity of all of us to learn to become aware of and to assess the quality of our energies, to control them, and to perform self-diagnosis and therapy when necessary. With practice, it is also within our reach to attain a level of mastery of our bioenergies that will enable us to increase our extrasensory perceptions and to create a kind of high frequency vibration in our chakras that works as an energetic defence.

Encounters with bioenergies that are not compatible with ours

When we share affinities with others, in terms of our thoughts, sentiments, interests and intentions we have an affinity of energies. Therefore we feel well in their company even if our shared affinities are less than positive. When there is no common denominator however, we may feel tired, irritable or even sick around certain people.

People who are not accustomed to working consciously with their bioenergies perceive their level of compatibility with another's energies through simple reactions such as instant distrust or the feeling of recognizing someone they have just met. Another example of an unconscious reaction to the bioenergies of others is when we assimilate the emotions or physical ailments of someone we are spending time with and quite literally take on board whatever they are feeling, be it euphoria, depression, grief, agitation or physical pain.

With regards to locations, they carry the energies associated with and/or generated by the activities taking place there today, in addition to those that have taken place there throughout the course of history. For example, people sometimes feel unwell visiting various tourist locations, unaware that these are the former sites of human sacrifices, war, carnage or public executions, or meeting places where rituals and curses were performed. The energy of these environments and of the objects that have remained there throughout time usually carries ‘energetic remnants' of the fear and suffering experienced there. This can affect more energetically sensitive individuals.

You can similarly imagine then, how the energies of an abattoir, a prison or a torture chamber might be. On the other hand, an untouched wilderness area would be an ideal place to absorb energies.

Often times, subtle maladies that have no apparent cause are the result of exactly these types of intrusions of energies that are not compatible with ours, into our own energy field via one of our chakras. Physical ailments caused by bioenergies destabilized in such a way are termed ‘psychosomatic illnesses' by the medical field.

Factors that may enhance our energetic performance

Fortunately, a lack of awareness of our bioenergies (how they affect and are affected by those of others) is a condition that can be reversed. There are measures we can take to improve the level of control we have over our energies.

Energetic control can be greatly improved with regular training. There are useful exercises we can do to develop our control of and sensitivity to bioenergies. These include:

  • Absorption of energies: the act of interiorizing energies in order to replenish ourselves.
  • Exteriorization of energies: the conscious donation of our energy to improve the energetic quality of the environment around us and to assist individuals in need.
  • Vibrational state : the installation of a peak frequency vibration of our bioenergy that expands our psychic awareness and promotes energetic cleansing and protection. The vibrational state is the condition of maximal and simultaneous dynamisation of the chakras, promoted by the conscious mobilization of one's energies up and down the body. The controlled use of the vibrational state has significant consequences. It enables us to neutralize unwanted influences and intrusions (that we have either knowingly or unknowingly come into contact with) , and to play therefore a more active, decisive role in our lives. This in turn stimulates personal maturation and evolutionary growth.

The vibrational state is a technique from which thousands of people are currently reaping benefits. The best way to verify this information is to install the vibrational state when you find yourself in a challenging situation, for example, when dealing with an aggressive customer, defending yourself in an argument, making your point in a hostile meeting, or experiencing any other situation in which you are being imposed upon energetically.

It is worth noting here that everyone has the capacity to work consciously with bioenergies in these ways. It is not necessary to have a particular aptitude or to be especially sensitive.

Another measure that promotes the development of energetic control is to cultivate consistency in our thoughts and sentiments. Although this is not a simple task, the regular practice of direct bioenergy techniques greatly assists in establishing a level of equilibrium of our physical, emotional and mental bodies.

The quality of our thoughts and intentions also plays a crucial role in determining the quality of our energies. When our thoughts and intentions are negative for example, the flow of energies from certain chakras may be blocked.

The most important factor of all, however, is willpower. It would be very difficult to improve our energetic performance via any of the above techniques without a degree of personal discipline and effort. It must be emphasized that moving energies is very real, not imagined. No amount of visualisation will ever be sufficient to install a vibrational state, for example. The key to success in this type of endeavour is to remain physically relaxed, to block any interference from the external environment and to actively focus on moving bioenergy through the application of will.

The benefits of controlling bioenergies are numerous. People experience general equilibrium and wellbeing, lower levels of stress, heightened awareness of what is happening around them on a moment to moment basis and expanded self-confidence. Control of bioenergies is also a key factor in producing lucid out-of-body experiences (or OBEs / astral travels / astral projections).

Movie Review: Inception

by Kim McCaul

The blockbuster movie Inception combines breathtaking and highly innovative action with a complex psychological plot.  Its focus is a team of ‘oneiric mercenaries’ who specialise in entering people’s subconscious through ‘joint dreaming’ for the purpose of stealing valuable information – an advanced form of industrial espionage. This mental theft is called ‘extraction.’  Soon they are given a task most think is impossible. Rather than extract information from a subject’s mind, they are to ‘plant’ an idea that will lead to a particular business decision. This form of mental manipulation is what’s called ‘inception.’

The movie does not seek to make a particular psychological or spiritual point, but it touches on many issues relevant to both psychology and spirituality.  At one level, the approach of the film is purely materialistic.  Dreams are the creations of people’s subconscious, and the many people who inhabit the places visited on dream journeys are merely ‘projections’ of the dreamers mind.  In other words, they are not real, independent consciousnesses. This is good because they get slaughtered in large numbers.  As the inceptors try and crack their target’s subconscious, the ‘projections’ function as a form of mental self-defence.  As they sense the intrusive presence of the inceptors they seek to defend their mental space by the fairly mundane means of weapons, guns and fists.  Where the movie does move into the metaphysical arena, is the manner in which dreamers increasingly question the essential nature of the real world. Is it the waking state that is real or is it the dream state with all its creative potential?

The film does not really explore or explain the technical manner in which it is possible for people to share each other’s dreams. From a conscientiological perspective a ‘shared dream’ is never a dream, but a shared projection by 2 or more consciousnesses.  Projection here of course, does not have the psychological meaning it has in Inception, but refers to consciousness projecting out of the physical body in another, more subtle body (also known as astral projection, or out-of-body experience).  Dreams are inter-neural events, and while we might be able to track the cerebral activity they produce on CT-scans, we cannot share them the same way we share going for a walk together. Projections of the consciousness can be shared in just that way.  They are extracorporeal events that take to us to non-physical dimensions, populated by real, non-physical people. Interestingly, there are numerous parallels between the dream experiences of the characters in Inception and the extraphysical experiences of consciousness.

Just like the people representing subconscious ‘projections’ in the movie, the real non-physical people in extraphysical dimensions may sense the difference of the person who is having an out-of-body experience and become curious about them.  And just as the dreamers in the movie have the ability to create the dreamscape, and sometimes involuntarily introduce unresolved psychological issues, so when we are projected outside the body our thoughts can turn into tangible creations (morphothosenes also known as ‘thought forms’) and our conditionings, beliefs and fantasies can influence our experience and distort our perception of the extraphysical reality in which we may be manifesting.  Just as some of the dreamers in Inception don’t realise that they are dreaming, most people, most of the time, don’t realise when they are projected.

A key premise of the movie is that inception, the planting of an idea in someone’s mind, is a highly difficult undertaking.  Yet, in our everyday reality this actually takes place more often than we realise.  From a purely physical and psychological perspective there is an extensive literature on propaganda, advertising and brain-washing.  Many of the ideas we might most closely identify with as our own, may in fact have been planted there by others: our parents, our peer-group, our culture.  From a multidimensional perspective it goes even further. It is possible, and indeed common, for non-physical people (extraphysical consciousnesses) to give us ideas that then appear to us to be our own.  This can happen while we are projected at night; we may wake up with new insights without realising where they come from (this may be why people often like to ‘sleep on things’).  It can also happen while we are awake; most of us are unaware of the non-physical consciousnesses who surround us at all times and may ‘whisper something into our ear’ (telepathically). Such implanted ideas can be negative and intrusive; but they can also be positive and assistential, such as when a depressed person suddenly glimpses a new mental vista of possibility and future that removes the haze of depression and instils new hope and optimism. ‘Helpers’ (serene, mature, developed, lucid non-physical people) can sow great seeds of inspiration and evolutionary productivity.

I thoroughly enjoyed Inception, but the real world of multidimensional consciousness is much more elaborate and complex than that of the dreamscapes portrayed in the movie and yet awaits a film maker to truly tackle it in depth.
